THACKRAY MUSEUM OF MEDICINE: STRATEGIC SUPPORT
Wafer Hadley’s work with Thackray Museum of Medicine spans five years of change and development. Through the delivery of projects on Activity Plan development, audience research, bid writing, evaluation, and workforce development, we have helped the museum secure millions of pounds of new investment, a place in the Arts Council England portfolio, and an enhanced profile in the sector, where it recently became a finalist in the Art Fund Museum of the Year.
Most recently, Wafer Hadley worked with the Thackray Museum of Medicine management team and staff as the museum responded to new opportunities and challenges in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic. With a newly redeveloped museum and clear vision for community impact, the team wanted to streamline its work and ensure that the internal process was as strong as external delivery.
